Nashable Post Production

The shoot finished without a hitch and Post Production editing and animation and music began but was put temporarily on hold while I had to do this little thing called a wedding...  And that all went great!  So back in the saddle soon and hopefully dropping a "Nash" teaser of some kind!  2013 is flying by if you haven't noticed...

Also, the full short film: WAITING FOR PLAYER will be released to the public soon :D

NEW SHORT FILM - "NASH BUYS A PINBALL MACHINE" - MAGFest 11

Hi all, first off, in a few weeks our new short film, "Nash Buys a Pinball Machine," about one man's uncontrollable desire to own a pinball machine will go into production in Tulsa, OK!
yuzo koshiro (streets of rage, shenmue, actraiser) performance

In other news after last year's greatness, I took another trip to MAGFest 11 and had a most excellent time!  Played a billion games (pinball, pinball, pinball!), attended some great shows (virt, cheap dinosaurs, protomen, yuzo koshiro...), saw some panels and movies ("minecraft: the story of mojang", "indiegame the movie", avgn...) and met some awesome indie game developers kind enough to share what they are up to and let me play some rad demos!

a few of those game dev's cool links to checkout:

Analgesic Productions
Barnyard Intelligence Games
Cleaversoft
Dirigiballers
Gradual Games
Michael Todd Games
Rekcahdam
yyrGames
many more here:

I can't recommend enough that you should attend next year if any of these things interest you.  It's hard to explain just how crazy big this thing is... from the insane arcade space to all the sweet panels it's just impossible to see/do everything you want (not the worst problem you could have!)  Plus, of great interest to me, the MAGFest "Games on Film" content is going to be even bigger!  Good stuff.

And finally finally finally "Waiting For Player" will finally be posted online for everyone's viewing pleasure oh so very soon.  That's all.  Oh and happy new year and stuff  :D

...and don't forget to like/follow us into 2013!!

you should know this great man.

Gunpei Yokoi (横井 軍平 Yokoi Gunpei?, September 10, 1941 – October 4, 1997), sometimes spelled Gumpei Yokoi, was aJapanese video game designer. He was a long-time Nintendo employee, creator of the Game Boy and Game & Watch handheld systems, inventor of the modern day D-pad or 'cross' pad (a design that nearly all video game controllers use today), and producer of several long-running and critically acclaimed video game franchises.

He's no longer with us unfortunately but his thoughtful creations and ingenuity have left a great mark on this world.  I only recently learned about him and his achievements.  Very interesting man that I'm grateful to know more about now :)

Now for a tiny update:  I am still at work on a big budget production (August: Osage County) in Bartlesville, OK awhile longer but I'm always thinking and working towards bringing more creations from Sebastian's world to life... another short film is in the works so stay tuned and Reach for the Stars!!
